Question from Cream: What are the roles of 作曲, 編曲, 作詞 and 監製?

Answer (to the best of my knowledge)
Written out to give some sort of credit to the original creators of the song as respect ^^ Also, some people like to know the information; e.g. an artist may have composed, arranged and written the lyrics to their own song.

作曲：___
zuo qu/jok cook
Composer - who composed the music

編曲：___
bian qu/peen cook
Arranger - who arranges the music into what hear in the song

作詞：___
zuo chi/jok chee
Lyricist - who writes the lyrics to the song

The following are used mainly for songs that also have a music video released:
監製：___
jian zhi/gaam jai
Producer - used where the filming and production of a music video is involved

導演：___
dao yan/do yeen
Director

Other notes
填詞：___
tian chi/teen chee
Lyricist - as above

When I just use 曲:___that person/people did both the composing and arranging of the music and 主唱/演唱 tells you who is singing the song.

Update :::

This is Dominique - pika's cousin - and I'm gonna tell you why she's not been updating.

Well. Her mum has banned her from going on the net for usage other than school work, this is mainly because her grades have been dropping. So until they get back up again, she's not allowed to come back. I don't think. Also banned from watching chinese series.

For now. I'm in charge. (; teehee. (well, not really...)

I'll try and answer her tags for her apart from the private ones. But I probably won't post anything, just try to keep this up to date.

linda chung 1人晚餐 2人世界

all of the lyrics for linda's album are up :D for 二人世界 look for posts before (also for 你不懂我的心 (國語).

I'm not going to do the pinyin for 我不快樂 (國語) cuz it took me ages to do 你不懂我的心 (國語) so im not gonna bother.

School and things...

Its VERY annoying. Since ive been back to school i have been LOADED with homework and can't seem to have more than 1 hour free time..i can't get to sleep at night until i've been in the bed for another hour so i can't wake up in the morning :( school just makes me so depressed :(

Another thing...sorry about not updating a lot..and i guess i wont much any more until half-term or something, so unless im in a very happy mood to post something, or anyone makes a request im afraid you won't see much of me anymore.

The gem of life is coming out soon!! YAY ive been waiting for this series for a long time...wondering how linda will portray her 'bad girl' character..apparently its a triangle relationship with moses and bosco?!?! im confused now cuz i thought moses was with gigi... :S

Im also watching the four...its quite good. I love all the characters..not really :P the evil ones like 'ling lok sek' and his son 'ling siu gwat', and obviously the evil person who is evil but is by the kings side. Wish there s more to rons character..he hasnt shown much yet. YAY sammul :D i am a huge sammul fan since..errr since i watched when rules turn loose when i was 9 or 10 :D hes so funny in this series, but i think that there is still more to him as well. Raymond :D 'mo ching' the character is just so calm and cool for everything...it seems like he doesnt really care but he actually does, deep inside. He just doesnt want to show it. Kenneth..very cliched character :P but portrayed quite well :D looking forward to seeing more of the 'couples' scenes. especially ray and kate, and selena and kenneth :D

OH yh...its my birhtday on the 10th which is this coming friday :D 2 more days and im gonna be 14 :D but im not too happy because the more i grow up the more responsibilities i will have..i just want a free and nothing to worry about life...

TONG TONG (Tsui Tsz Shan) loses part of her hearing in an accident but she has a positive attitude towards life and she knows how to take good care of others. With the support of her mentor KO MING (Yue Yeung), TONG becomes a voice over talent by utilizing her lip reading ability and she meets another voice talent LEUNG KAI YIN (Ma Kwok Ming) who also has keen interest in the industry. YIN is fond of the leading voice actress YUEN SIU NA (Claire Yiu) and he asks TONG to be his matchmaker. TONG suffers from a lack of confidence to exhibit her love to YIN so she prefers to help achieve his wish.

YIN and TONG soon become the famous couple of the industry and their career grows swiftly. However, TONG's younger sister CHAI KA YEE (Yiu Tze Ling) suddenly commits suicide after losing her love. In order to rescue YEE, TONG loses her hearing completely. YEE is deeply ashamed for causing the tragedy and CHEUNG YAU (Lai Lok Yi) consoles her whole-heartedly. After the trauma, TONG abandons herself completely and she hides away from everybody including YIN. During the time, MING's voice over team suddenly breaks up and YIN is the only person staying behind. MING is helpless and he urges TONG to return.
